"Linking The Seasons" contest: Winners!

Journal Entry: Thu Jun 10, 2010, 11:57 AM
The feature winners of the wonderful contest Linking the seasons! + All participants entries.
Hiya everybody!!! :D
Sorry for the late post, but I had no internet connection in the computer I use for my college work for some days, but I made a news article about this first I wanted to do something very detailed and nifty, you have to see the amazing photos of all those awesome artist!! :excited:   [link] And if you're wondering, he yeah! I was in charge of donating this and the article for the winners of the contest, what it's a pleasure for me!:D I like too much this think of making news since my first news :giggle: and it was much fun doing it! Although well, I have to say it was a bit difficult to put the photos and I think it's due the new version; cos this doesn't conserve the previous links, and the version 6 did it and it was way easier; so every time I copied the "thumbs" of a pic and clicked "back" the previous link was erased, so I think that's in part why this took a bit more than I excepted…Well, I hope you enjoy this! :D And if you like it, please fave the news article so more people can see it, people really have to see this amazing work! Oh, Almost forget it, I read for a limited time everyone can use any  journal skin for free, so let's write a journal entrie folks! :D

This May has gone very fast, and now we are in june! :omg: these weeks were been very exhausting, I've been very tired lately, but hey it was logical if we consider I've worked from 8 am to 12 pm! Also I had some bad weeks lately folks…but you know what makes me feel good when I have a bad time? Oh yeah of course! to give some feedback or tribute to the great artist  here!! :D Everyone who knows me knows  how much I love it! :excited:
The great groups in charge of this wonderful contest were :icondalinksystem: and :iconnaturephotographer:  and I knew about the contest  because I watch "nature photographer" I'm so excited to present this cos it's my second news, but specially because I love photography a lot, mostly nature and macro photography! even I could said my interest on photography is all about that  :giggle: Oh God! I'm such a really ardent lover of nature and wildlife!  and of course a really ardent fan of nature photography too!! :excited:  everyone who know me knows that ...but maybe no much people knows I used to be an enthusiastic amateur photographer some time ago, and almost all of my photos were about nature (or should I say all? )so although now I'm very off of photography since many time ago cos I don't have a camera, ince I discovered "Naturephotographer" group (thanks to a photo included in it) I was looking forward to the group's activity, even if I don't have any photo to contribute with, because that group made me in touch with what I really love!
I read about the contest via the blog and I was really excited when I knew they needed prizes, so much than I hardly could contain my excitement at that day :giggle:  And now I'm so proud and so glad to present you the awesome photos of the "Linking the Seasons" contest winners, as well as I did in my first news…Or even more! Because this contest gave me the chance to do something more good than in my first news, thanks to the two groups owners for the chance! :D
The winners were decided by voting, so it means many people liked these photo, so please give them a great feedback, and congrats a lot to everyone!  :D

This moring II by

This landscape completely frozen it's amazing, it's a wonderful and neat shot of a phenomenon we can see very often, especially the ones who live in warm places, like me for example. I just loved sharpness of the pic that let us see the details of the grass in it  I didn't knew the frozen water in some place could create such beautiful landscape! :wow:

You know I like to show more of the artists works, cos they deserve it, here are my personal favorites of all winners. What "my personal favorites" mean? It means I didn't choose a random photo, I like to visit the galleries and looking with detail, to take what I think are their most awesome shots, so I hope you enjoy them as much as I did it surfing through their gallery to find them! :D This mail exceeded the limit of bits, so it's not complete, but you can see the rest of the photos in my news article!
This is some of the work from Marc. He's from Belgium, who has taken beautiful photos of a great variety of nature photography and also other things. He takes landscapes, flowers, animals, other things like people and buildings, and of course one thing I LOVE a lot, sunsets and sunrises!   These are my personal favorites :D
His photos are very bright and cheerful, and I specially loved the ones about insects, mushrooms and flowers. It was amazing to see how many colorful and cool species of them are there! :excited: I loved so much his sunsets and sunrises!
I love their landscapes, and specially these, and look at the first pic, are hazel blossoms that looks like nest in fire, that's amazing!

Foggy Morning by :iconfotolympus:

Foggy morning it's a typical farm scene with a feeling of serenity and calm, but also a little mystery. I liked very much the color of the ground, the fog, and the little cabin in the distance that makes the place look very calm :aww:  I guess it would be a great place to take a break from the city life.
Adrian's specialty is nature photography too, but he also likes to take pics of cars, concept art and people. I loved specially his nature photos because they're really warm and full of colors!! :excited: So his most colorful nature pics are my personal favorites too :giggle: His pics are pure win! :w00t:

Days of Wonder by :icondrcrawford:

A beautiful shot and lively shoot with a great lightning and angle. The way the sunshine pass through the leaves is great, I imagine this place would be great for a picnic! :D Justin is a really awesome photographer, and  he also makes great digital art, He loves nature, and I have a quote of something he wrote  about himself, something that touched my heart, cos it's exactly the reason of why I love nature! :excited:  <3 So take this like if it's was me too:

----"I've always enjoyed nature. The spontaneity of nature is what I like the most. One minute it can be dull and boring, and then you turn the corner and it is breathtaking. To me, the magic and intrigue of nature far surpasses the beauty of any manmade creation. I've never been a fan of staged shots. Capturing animals, people, and nature candidly captures the essence of life. And it is through our appreciation of that essence that we can better cherish and understand life, our world, and perhaps even our place in the universe"---

I think his specialty are sunsets and sunrises, because these are his most amazing pics, and being a really ardent sunsets and sunrises fan, of course his sunsets and sunrises photos where what I loved the most from his gallery! Oh my dear Good! They're incredibly awesome!!! :excited:  :iconeeeeeplz: I also loved very much his flowers and insects, and I think the most awesome pieces are these ones! I loved a lot the warm, peaceful, wonderful feeling on his photos (specially the sunsets ones) and the colors, the variety of places, and the spontaneity of his pic!

CONGRATS A LOT TO THE WINNERS!!! :w00t:

:icondivider1::icondivider1::icondivider1::icondivider1::icondivider1::icondivider1::icondivider1::icondivider1::icondivider1::icondivider2:

Oh boy! :excited: it was so wonderful to visit the artists galleries and see their awesome shots of nature to make this feature! :excited:  so much than I must to say, it was quite difficult NOT to add their entire gallery to this article! :XD: ;) I would, but then it would not have had anything to see when you go to their galleries :giggle: Oh my! had much fun doing this article, I enjoyed it SO so much and I hope it can conveys my all my enthusiasm and excitement! :D  Well, see the other participants entries in my news article! :D And if some of you hold a contest about macro or nature photography in the future, and need prizes, note me I'll be more than glad to do a news article and journal feature! :D
I  hope you've enjoyed this feature as much as I did making it :D And a lots of CONGRATS for the winners, participants, and also to the wonderful groups who made possible this contest! :icondalinksystem: and :iconnaturephotographer:  they both are wonderful groups! :D
Oh! And thanks a to :icondeararts: for the skin, it's beautiful!
