Veggie From Outer Space

Ya estamos en el mes de diciembre llega la hora de las declaraciones de fin de año, es un trabajo que exige concentrarse mucho, asi que desde hace un tiempo no hecho otro dibujo...ademas desde hace como 4 semanas no tengo compu asi que no puedo usar el scanner! Bye Virgil, mi compu viejita.
Hoy no fui a la escuela, asi que tal vez pueda poner otro dibujo que haya hecho antes, aunque no estoy segura, pero mientras aqui les traigo un dibujo de Faikel veggietizado! mi personaje que ya algunos conocen. Este lo hice con pluma el 12 de Noviembre, y se me ocurrio la idea mientras buscaba fanart de Veggietales, ese dia vi que habia una especie de "categoria" de fanart entre los fans de VeggieTales llamada "vethro" (creo que asi se llama) que es cuando los vegetales se humanizan, o sea que los fans los convierten en una version humana. El chiste es que cuando yo vi eso pense que era intersante y divertido, y me dije "si la gente hace eso porque no podria ser al revés?" asi que por eso converti aqui a Faik como uno de los personajes! Y como el es un alien pues lo hice como una verdura alien!
Lo curioso de todo esto es que esta es una verdura (cielos! Suena tan gracioso decir "verdura" porque ya me acostumbre a decir "veggie" ) que yo invente para una de mis series de ciencia ficcion, pero fue hace mucho tiempo, cuanod me tomaba muy en serio las bromas, y un dia mis hermanos se burlaron de ella y ya no la volví a dibujar ...hasta ahora que se me ocurrio usarla para vegetizar a Faikel! Es gracioso, pues yo siempre supe que serviria para algo algun dia (porque siempre he creido que todo lo que uno hace sirve ) pero nunca pense que para esto!! Me gusto mucho como salió, la forma le queda asombrosamente bien a Faikel, hasta tiene sus hojas largas largas como si fueran su cabello! Tambien me gusto la expresion, es muy propia de el.
Asi que bueno, esta es una prueba de que todo lo que hace uno sirve, asi que si hicieron algun dibujo que creen que no les quedo bien y lo piensan tirar, mejor no lo hagan, quien quita y tal vez les sirva para algo algún dia!

We're in the months of when comes the moment of doing the year-end statements, is a work that requires much focus and that's in part why since some time I haven't dione another drawing...also since the last 4 weeks as I have no computer so I cannot use the scanner. Today I didn't go to school, so maybe I can put another picture I've done before, although I'm not sure, but while here I bring a picture of veggie Faikel! : D A character of mine. I made this with pen on November 12th, and I got the idea while looking for fanart of VeggieTales, I saw it was a sort of "category" of fanart from VeggieTales fans called "vethro" (I think that's the name ) which is when people become VeggieTales characters into human. When I saw that I thought it was quite interesting and funny, and I said "if people make veggies become humans, that why it couldn't be upside down?" So here is it, Faikel as a Veggie!! And as he's an alien, I did him as an alien vegetable!
The curious thing about this is that this is a vegetable (heavens! Sounded so funny to say "verdura" in the spanish writing up there, because I usually write "veggie" ) I made up for one of my sci-fi stories, it was a long ago time when I used to take jokes so serious; one day my brothers made fun of the vegetable drawings and since then I haven't draw it again ...until now I use it to "veggietize" Faikel! It's funny because I always had the feeling that someday that vegetable would be useful for something ( I believe that whatever you create can be useful) but never thought it would be for this! I liked a lot this desing, it fits Faikel surprisingly well, even the veggie has long leaves like Faikel's long hair! I also loved the expression, is very own of him.
So, this is proof that everything one creates is useful, so if you've created something that you think it doesn't serve and you're thinking of throwing it, better don't do it, who knows and maybe it will serve to something some day!
