Beautiful dresses

Este lo hice el 8 de mayo, es un pequeño dibujo de Zeeter de La Patrulla de Zula, y Brook (un personaje mio) con unos vestidos de gala alien! No se porque se me ocurrio dibujar a estas chicas enfundadas en elegantes vestidos...hace TANTO tiempo que ya no dibujaba chicas con vestidos,desde que tenia como que, 8 o 9 años, algo asi...Casi no dibujo chicas con vestidos, porque me recuerdan a las historias de princesas, y ustedes saben que casi no me gustan las historias de princesas por muchas razones, creo que una de las principales es porque en los cuentos de hadas los personajes (especialmente las princesas) son ...como decirlo, "demasiado buenos" (vease bobos) y las historias ahi son muy predecibles y demasiado "fantasticas", tanto que no ofrecen un verdadero reto y siempre terminan en un super cursi final de "felices para siempre" sin explicacion alguna, algo que
nunca sucede en la vida real. Yo siempre senti que las historias, los personajes, y todo el mundo en que vivian era demasiado "magico" para ser real. Y asi uno no se puede sentir identificado con los personajes; como sentirse uno identificado con alguien impecablemente perfecto, alguien que no siente ira y pierde el control, alguien que nunca tiene un mal dia, que es totalmente buena y que no hace nada mal, que nunca se ha equivocado y que vive una vida donde no hay enojo, dolor o sufrimiento, alguien que no ha pasado por dificultades, como una princesa?...si se vive en un mundo como este
lleno de caos y destruccion...yo deje los cuentos de hadas porque simplemente sentia que no me ofrecian NADA para enfrentarme a la vida, solo me enseñaban que el mundo era rosa, y todo era facil, y obviamente eso no es cierto.
Pero hace unos dias leí el en journal de sobre la pelicula de disney que probablemente hará historia este diciembre, sobre todo porque promete regresar al cine la animacion 2D en todo su esplendor.
Y aunque de veras detesto admitirlo, leer su journal realmente me hizo recordar mi infancia viendo los clasicos de disney como la sirenita, aladin, o el rey leon...cuando yo era una persona con una buena reputacion y la gente creía en mi...y pues me entro la nostalgia de mis años pasados con los clasicos de disney de los 80's y 90's...y vi el trailer, que me inspiro a hacer los vestidos!
Si quieren pueden ver el journal aqui [link] Y bueno, creo que tambien dibuje esto porque ya se acercan los 15 de mi hermana, y pues yo quise hacer unos modelos, pero ya le compraron su vestido asi que...de cualquier modo, me gusto como salieron, y a Zeeter le puse una tiara porque no tiene cabello, y era muy dificil
dibujarla pelona pues se veia rara pero creo que asi quedo bastante bien

Made on May 8, a little drawing of Zeeter from The Zula Patrol and Brook (a character of mine) with futuristic alien gala dresses!I don't know how I had the idea to draw these girls sheathed in elegant dresses...SOOO LOONG ago I don't draw girls with beautiful dresses, since I was like 8 or 9 years, or something...I usually don't draw girls with beautiful dresses because that reminds me the princesses and fairy tales. And as some of you know, I don't like fairy tales since a long time ago, for many reasons, and one of them it's because fairy tale characters (especially princesses) are ... how to say it..."too good ", you know...too silly and the stories in fairy tales are very predictable and too easy, so much that they don't have a real challenge and always have to end with a so corny "happy ending" without explanation, without a challenge, or hard work, something that never happens in real life. I always felt that the stories, characters, and all world in which they lived was too "magical" to be real, so good for it's own good, but not for us. And like this, you can't feel any kind of conection with the characters. Can you tell me; How you can feel a conection with someone impeccably perfect, someone who doesn't feel anger and never loses control, someone who never has a bad day, which is absolutely good and doesn't do anything wrong, who never made a mistake and living a life where there are no anger, pain or suffering, someone who has not gone through difficulties, someone like a princess...if you live in a world like this full of chaos and destruction ...I leave fairy tales because I simply felt that they never offered me anything to deal with everyday life, and only shown the world was pink, and all was easy, and obviously that is not true.
But a few days ago I read in the journal of something about the Disney film it seems will make history this December, especially since the film promises to return the clasic an wonderful disney 2D animation in all its splendor.
Read his journal was something truly overwhelming, it really made me cry. I've never seen such SO MUCH feeling and passion from someone....his journal made me remember my childhood watching Disney classics like the little mermaid, aladin, the lion king ...when I was a person with a good place and people believed in me...when people still hadn't been teased my dream of being a scientist, and therefore I got the nostalgia of my past with the classic Disney 80's and 90's films...and I wanted to saw the trailer. You can see his journal here [link] When I saw the trailer I was tickled with excitement!!! it seems this film could redefine fairy tales forever. I love the fact the princess became into a frog too, because that means this is NOT like the fairy tale all-we-know !!! I loved the prince, he looks really good as a frog! and he was so hilarious! It was freakin' funny when he was trying to convince her to give him a kiss, but she didn't want to kiss him because he was a frog! I love a lot his expressions, he made very hilarious expressions, very funny yet so sexy!!! very suggestive! I DO could kiss a frog prince if he ask me, because I have no problem with frogs, they are one of my favorite animals indeed..but well, I'm not a princess!
The animation it was absoutly EPIC, and the music sounds really wonderful, specially the one which plays in a part of at the end of the trailer that wasn't like anything that I had heard before (it plays when there are random parts of the movie, including the scene where there are many forest animals) indeed it seemed really similar to a tune I'm composing for a movie that I invented. Seriously, the resemblance that was amazing!
So, this is a drawing inspired by the movie, but actually by his journal! I liked pretty much how they came out, it was a bit difficult to make Zeeter's head because she has no hair, and with no hair she looked odd but I gave her a kind of tiara and I think she looks pretty good! hope you like it!
